Four types of samples, each serving a different purpose in the sourcing and production lifecycle.

Type 1

Existing Product Sample

A unit from our current stock of an existing product. For evaluating quality, material, and feel before committing to a wholesale order.

Type 2

Custom OEM Sample

A product made to your custom specification — logo, color, material, or design modification. For approving customization before production.

Type 3

Pre-Production Sample

A sample from the actual production run materials, produced just before mass production begins. The final approval gate.

Type 4

Shipment Sample

A retained sample from the finished batch, kept on record for reference in case of post-delivery quality questions.

Cost Policy

Sample Cost Policy

We don't profit from samples. The sample cost covers materials, labor, and express shipping. And when you proceed to a bulk order, that cost comes back to you.

How it works:

Sample cost quoted upfront: You know the exact cost before we start
Express shipping included: DHL or FedEx, 3–7 days to most destinations
Deducted from bulk order: After you confirm the sample and place a production order, the full sample cost is credited against your invoice
No hidden fees: The deduction applies to the sample cost itself, not shipping charges alone

Example: If sample cost is $50 (including shipping) and your bulk order is $5,000, your final invoice is $4,950. The sample was effectively free.

Buyer Checklist

What to Check in a Sample

A sample in your hand is your best opportunity to prevent problems. Use this checklist to evaluate it thoroughly.

Physical Quality

Weight and density — does it feel substantial or flimsy?
Surface finish — smooth, no flash marks, no rough edges
Material flexibility and hardness appropriate for intended use
Odor — no chemical or unpleasant smells
Color match — compare against your Pantone reference

Function & Safety

Pull test straps, handles, and attachments by hand
Check seams, stitching, and bonding for separation
Test moving parts, clips, buckles, and closures
Verify no small parts that could detach and become choking hazards
Assess durability for the intended pet size and behavior

Branding & Customization

Logo placement, size, and clarity — correct position?
Deboss/print quality — crisp, legible, no smudging
Color accuracy of printed or dyed elements
Label and hangtag content — all text correct?
Barcode scannability (if applicable)

Packaging

Retail box or poly bag — correct format?
Hangtag attached and positioned correctly
Insert card included (if specified)
Multi-language label text correct
Packaging protects product without excessive bulk
